New Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation Chairwoman Vicki Summers has announced the 2019 GEM Leadership Award recipients: Michael Splitt, CEO and founder of In Sync Systems, and Kathleen Caldwell, CEO and founder of Caldwell Consulting.
Both recipients are being honored for their community involvement and continued financial support to local nonprofits.
They also assist in selecting and presenting scholarships for Leaders in Action, the Bob Blazier Leadership Scholarship and the Mark A. Elmore Architectural Scholarship to local businesses or their employees who are active members of the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Caldwell and Splitt will be honored at the foundation's sixth annual "Be Brilliant" Generous Enthusiastic Motivated Leadership Luncheon from

1:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at Boulder Ridge Country Club.
