GENEVA – Chef Alain Roby will mark the six-year anniversary of his creation of the World's Longest Candy Cane during Geneva's Christmas Walk, bringing out a 10-foot replica at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the All Chocolate Kitchen, 33 S. Third St., Geneva, the company announced in a news release.
The replica will be of his Guinness World Record-breaking 51-foot candy cane.
The replica will be brought out, displayed and thenwill be broken into tiny pieces with a hammer.
Hoodies commemorating the “Insane Candy Cane Celebration” will be on sale for $30 with 100 percent of the proceeds to be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The hoodies will be on sale through Dec. 24.
In 2012, Roby's 51-foot candy cane was made of 900 pounds of sugar and broke the previous Guinness World Record of a 38-foot candy cane.
