STERLING – Jerri Ann Cantrell, 61, of Sterling, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at her home, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born July 24, 1957, in Dixon, the daughter of Gerald and Myrna (Kitzmiller) Miller. She married Jody Cantrell on Aug. 14, 1987, in Sterling. Jerri had worked at Peter Piper, as an assistant manager at Tampico Casey’s, at Sterling Multiproducts and at Tri-County Opportunity. Growing up, she attended Como Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jody; her son, Brandon (Denise) Gillihan of Detroit; daughters, Heidi E. (Dale) Bennett of Mansfield, Arkansas and Jessica N. (Sergio) Martinez of Sterling; her sister, Sarah (Rod) Kuepker of Deer Grove; her brothers, Ted (Phyllis) Miller of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Tim (Melissa) Miller of Sterling; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Ave., Rock Falls. The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will conclude at Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
