MACOMB – Ann Williams, 95, of Macomb, formerly of Dixon, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at Wesley Village Healthcare Center in Macomb.
She was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Belvidere, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Corrall) Dominguez. She had been a secretary for the Masonic Temple in Dixon and the Lee County Highway Department before her retirement. Ann was a longtime member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Dixon. She married William C. Williams on Sept. 18, 1948, in Freeport. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1979.
Survivors include her children, Randolph (Mary) Williams of Dixon, William (Rose) Williams of Miramar, Florida, daughter Ann (Darrel) Avey of Lone Tree, Colorado and son-in-law, Michael Inman of Macomb; 10 grandchildren, Candice (David) Koch, Carmen (Jeff) Mallers, Daniel Williams, Jennifer (Vic) Pokorski, Sheena (Anthony) Zepeda, Kara (David) Pulfus, William, Madelyn, Gabriel, and Ann Astasia Inman; and eight great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Inman; and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with the rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. The funeral will begin with a 10 a.m. Friday prayer service at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Friday Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church in Dixon, with the Rev. Thomas Doyle officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
