Sharon K. Hussung

DIXON – Sharon K. Hussung, age 68, of Dixon, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

She was born March 4, 1950, in Dixon, the daughter of Edward and June (Dempsey) Friel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Edward Jr. and Michael Friel.

Sharon is survived by three sisters, Julie (Joe) Cofield of Needhame, Massachusetts, Sheila (Ed) Garland of Grand Detour and Jill Friel Kaufman of Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., with a scripture service at 5:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Burial of cremains will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
