CHICAGO – Charles M. Sprinkel, 86, of Chicago, died on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.
He was born on October 29, 1932 in Sterling, Illinois, to Charles and Helen (Miller) Sprinkel. He was an attorney for Montgomery Ward for over 40 years and a veteran of the United States Army.
Surviving are his brother, Stephen Sprinkel (Marietta) of Montfort, Wisconsin; his sister, Susan (Steven) of Madison, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with The Very Reverend James R. Keenan, pastor, officiating. There will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM in the church. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Charles’ name with The Alzheimers Association National Process Center, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC 20090.
Arrangements are through the McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls.
