Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort recently celebrated 50 years in business.
Phil Pascarella founded the dealership in 1968 with a two-car showroom, 12 employees and an inventory of 40 cars, according to a news release from Phillips Chevrolet.
In the intervening years, Phillips has grown to encompass three locations of more than 150,000 total square feet, with more than 350 employees and more than 1,600 cars and 45 RVs in its inventory, the release said.
In its 50-year history, Phillips Chevrolet has undergone several expansion projects, including the addition of locations in Lansing and Bradley.
Phillips Chevrolet has been the No. 1 selling Chevy dealer in Illinois for 12 years in a row and has earned dozens of awards for both sales volume and customer satisfaction from General Motors, as well as consumer advocate organizations such as DealerRater and Edmunds.com, according to the release.
“We couldn’t have achieved our success and longevity without the hard work and dedication of every member of our team, as well as the support of our local communities,” President Curtis Pascarella said.
Phillips Chevrolet is located at the corner of Routes 30 and 45 in Frankfort.
