Brian Kaye Ferry, 75, of Lanark passed away suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019 at FHN Memorial Hospital, Freeport.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place from 4 – 6 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll with a 6 p.m. Memorial Service.

Brian was born at home on Jan. 20, 1944 in Elkhorn Grove Township, the son of Paul and Geraldine (Forry) Ferry.
On Nov. 27, 1965, Brian married Elaine Mae Singley at the United Brethren Church of Brookville. They celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Brian worked as a maintenance worker for the City of Lanark for many years. He also enjoyed working on the farm of Duane and Doris Kruse. He liked watching tractor pulls, attending county fairs, John Deere tractors, and teasing good family and friends.
Brian will be dearly missed by his wife, Elaine; his son, Donald Ferry of Lanark; his daughter, Holly Fink of Mt. Morris; three grandchildren, Travis Anderson, Gage Fink and Madison Fink; a sister, Sharon Peugh of Lanark; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Brian is preceded in death by both parents; a son at birth, Ronald; a sister in infancy, Roseanne; a brother-in-law, Richard Peugh; an uncle, Gerald “Bud” Lavere Forry; and an aunt, Colleen (Crandall) Forry; and their daugther Linda (Forry) Moriarity.
