DUI arrest on Rt. 34

Oswego police arrested Jennifer Gibson, 38, of the 20th block of Joles Street, Sandwich, after stopping the vehicle she was driving at 4:57 p.m. March 2 on Route 34 at O’Brien Way on a charge of driving under the influence. Police said Gibson later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance next month.

Facing DUI charge

Oswego police arrested Ann T. Pisha, 55, of the 600 block of Briarwood Lane, Oswego, at 2:29 p.m. March 2 after stopping the vehicle she was driving in the 4000 block of Route 71. Police said Pisha was charged with driving under the influence. She posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.

Montgomery man battered

Oswego police are investigating an incident in which a 27-year-old Montgomery man was battered at a business in the 2000 block of Mitchell Drive at 1 p.m. March 3.

Trespass arrest

Oswego police arrested Edwin Cossio-Rodriguez, 24, of the 400 block of Waton Street, Aurora, at 9:15 p.m. March 1 in the 400 block of Carriage Court on a charge of criminal trespass to land. Police said the suspect later posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.

Alcohol incident at OHS

Oswego police are investigating a report of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor that occurred March 1 at Oswego High School.

Facing DUI charge

Oswego police arrested Brian M. Ross, 44, of the 1600 block of Masters Court, Naperville after stopping the vehicle he was driving on Route 34 at Douglas Road at 2:20 a.m. March 2. Police said Ross has been charged with driving under the influence. He posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.

Facing battery charge

Oswego police arrested Kelsie J. Carrigan, 33, of the 30th block of Primrose Lane, Oswego, on a charge of battery in the 1100 block of Douglas Road at 12:11 a.m. Feb. 27. Police said a 27-year-old woman who was the victim in the incident was not hurt. Carrigan posted bond and was released pending an court appearance in next month.

ID theft reported

Oswego police took an identity theft report from a resident of the 900 block of Jessamine Drive on Feb. 26. Police said the victim told officers that someone opened a checking account using the victim’s name and Social Security number.

Warrant arrest

Oswego police arrested Joseph Rizzo, 52, of the 90th block of Seton Creek Drive, Oswego in the 100 block of Old Post Road at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 26. Police said Rizzo was wanted on warrants for failure to appear in court on prior charges in both Kendall and DuPage counties. The suspect was transported to the Kendall County Jail, where he posted bond and was released pending a court appearance, according to police.

Cellphone taken

An Aurora resident told Oswego police that she left her cellphone at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 and someone took it.
