Residents, family and friends at DeKalb Area Retirement Center-Oak Crest in DeKalb recently celebrated with the center's six resident centenarians. Each centenarian was introduced and presented with flowers. The introductions included many facts about the lives of the residents before coming to Oak Crest and since then. Everyone enjoyed dessert and music by Craig Mathey, who began by singing "Happy Birthday" and then included many of the songs that were favorites of the centenarians and others in attendance.
