Minooka senior named Rotary Club 'Student of the Month' for February

Minooka Community High School senior Dylan Norton, son of Joe and Karen Norton of Channahon, was named the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club “Student of the Month” for February.

Dylan maintains a 3.4 grade-point-average, has been on the honor role list every semester and has maintained a perfect attendance record.

He has also enjoyed football and wrestling all four years, and also participated in volleyball for two years.

Dylan has belonged to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

After graduation in May, Dylan plans to continue his education at Joliet Junior College studying engineering or welding.
