Former McHenry and Marian Central athletic director Drew Potthoff has been selected for induction into the Illinois Athletic Directors Association Hall of Fame on May 4.
Potthoff served as McHenry's full-time athletic director from 2004 to 2011 before transitioning into a part-time role for one year. He also served as athletic director at Marian Central from 2014 to 2016.
Potthoff, who coached South Beloit to the Class 1A football state championship in 2002, has been active at the state level with the IADA for many years. He currently is executive director for the Illinois Coaches Association. Another ICA board member, Henry Johnson, will be inducted with Potthoff.
