PRINCETON — Helen M. Rich, 89, of Princeton passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
Born Jan. 13, 1930, in Princeton to Robert Jason “Jack” and Faith (Mercer) Haun, she married Francis A. Rich June 29, 1963, in Mendota. He preceded her in death.
She held various jobs throughout her life. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton, American Legion Auxiliary, Home Extension and the Good Sams Camping Club. She had served on the board of the Bureau County Senior Center.
Surviving are her children, David (Robin Wolf) Underwood of Brattleboro, Vt., Joanne (Roger) Carr of Troy Grove and Linda (Mike) Fisher of Sheffield; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, Robert (Mary) Haun of Tiskilwa, Donna Longbein of Seatonville, Jean Nantz of Kentucky and Kenneth (Jeanne) Haun of Mendota; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Alan; and a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the chapel of the Fiocchi-Jensen Funeral Home in Princeton, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Bureau County Senior Center or St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton.
