Unlawful consumption, speeding arrest

Plano police arrested Austin Freeman, 20, of the 1100 block of East 5th Street, Sandwich, on charges of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, and speeding in excess of 35 mph, after responding to a traffic stop at 7:55 p.m., April 9 in the area of Route 34 and Eldamain Road. Freeman was arrested, and transported to the Plano Police Department, where he was later released and given a court date in Kendall County.

Domestic battery arrest

Plano police arrested Jonathan D. Butler, 18, of the 400 block of Swanson Avenue, Plano, on a charge of domestic battery, after responding to a domestic call at 3:26 p.m., April 12, in the 400 block of Swanson Avenue. Butler was taken to Northwestern Medicine Valley West Hospital in Sandwich for an unrelated matter. At about 9:15 p.m., Plano police arrested Butler at the hospital. Butler was transported to the Plano Police Department for processing and later transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville to await a future court date.

Driving under the influence arrest

Plano police arrested Charissa M. Rexford, 29, of the 1600 block of Cottonwood Trail, Yorkville, on charges of driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving in the wrong lane after responding to a traffic accident at 12:41 a.m., April 14, in the area of South Lew and East Main streets. Upon investigating, police allege that Rexford was under the influence of alcohol. Rexford was transported to the Plano Police Department where she posted bond, and was given an upcoming court date in Kendall County.

Warrant arrest

Plano police arrested Walter K. King, 25, of the 3800 block of Munson Court, Plano, at 9 a.m., April 15, in the 3800 block of Munson Court, on a warrant from Kendall County on two charges of domestic battery and one charge violation of an order of protection. King was transported to the Kendall County Jail to await a bond hearing.

Warrant arrest

Plano police arrested Donshea D. Merrick, 28, of the 2100 block of Apple Lane, Woodridge, at 9:15 a.m., April 15 in the 100 block of East Main Street on a failure to appear warrant out of Kendall County. Merrick posted bond and was released from the Plano Police Department with an upcoming court date.

Driving under the influence arrest

Plano police arrested Ricardo Guzman, 40, of the 500 block of Hammond Avenue, Aurora, on charges of driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, and illegal transportation of alcohol, after responding to a report of a vehicle in a ditch at 8:30 p.m., April 15 in the area of Eldamain and Corneils roads. Guzman was booked at the Plano Police Department and was released after posting bond.
