Patricia Ann Pierce

DIXON – Patricia Ann Pierce, 79, of Dixon, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at her home in Dixon. She worked for Borg Warner, Dixon, for many years, prior to her retirement.

Patricia was born November 30, 1939, in Dixon, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Marjorie (Davidson) Coursey. She married Wayne A. Pierce on February 24, 1959, in Dixon. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2016.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Rick) Shields of China and Waynette (Jason) Hollinger of Dixon; two sisters, Peggy Sneek and Pamela (Donald) Aebly, both of Polo; one brother, Clarence Coursey Jr. of Missouri; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Kyle.

A memorial gathering will be from 10-11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. Greg Duncan and Rev. Robert Dunbar, co-officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
