A Crest Hill man was killed by a bullet to the back of his head after two men lured him into a woman’s car outside the Plainfield Road Denny’s, Joliet police said in a news release.

On April 30, Bobbie Jean Ollom, 23, of Seneca; Joshua T. Anderson 20, of Chicago; and Christopher Parker, 23, of Chicago planned on robbing Gregory Brown, 36, according to a statement police released Thursday.

Brown was shot in the head inside of Ollom’s vehicle and his body was then left in the parking lot, police said. Ollom was inside Denny’s before the incident, police said, and she was captured on surveillance video.

Ollom, Anderson and Parker drove away from the area and dropped off Ollom’s vehicle in Chicago, according to police. Ollom and Anderson were able to procure another vehicle and headed west toward Iowa, police said.

Joliet police detectives determined Ollom and Anderson might be staying with a relative of Ollom in Burlington, Iowa, which is about 4½ hours from Chicago.

Ollom and Anderson were apprehended by Des Moines County Sheriff’s deputies in Burlington on May 3, according to the sheriff’s office.

Joliet police detectives drove out to Burlington and spoke with Ollom and Anderson, according to the news release.

The detectives were able to obtain arrest warrants for both suspects, and they were taken to the Des Moines County jail.

On Tuesday, Chicago police took Parker into custody after receiving a request from Joliet police. Parker was taken back to Joliet by detectives. An arrest warrant was obtained for Parker.

Ollom, Anderson and Parker face charges of murder, robbery and armed robbery.

Parker appeared in court on video from the Will County jail. His next court date is May 30.
