Oswego School District 308 honors 33 retirees

Four district staffers also recognized for 25 years of service

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 and the Board of Education held their annual employee recognition and retirement event on April 25. The district recognized 33 retirees as well as four individuals for 25 years of service for a combined total of 652 years of dedication and service to the students of the district.

“It is with great pride that we gather here tonight to recognize and celebrate these individuals who have given their time and given of themselves to our district and to our students,” said Dr. John Sparlin, superintendent of schools. “District 308 is a place that still has that hometown feel to it, a place where people know your first name and where people come together to celebrate each other.”
