David A. McIntyre

ELDRIDGE, Iowa – David A. McIntyre, age 62, of Eldridge, Iowa died Sunday, May 19, 2019, at his home.

David was born December 31, 1956, in Peoria, Ill., the son of Bernard and Anna Mae (Hypes) McIntyre. He married Kathleen Stage on January 24, 2019, in Davenport, Iowa.  David was employed with Local 85 I.A.T.S.E. for 30 years and was a Who Else member.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Eldridge, Iowa; his mother, Ann Abbott of Phoenix, Ariz.; his stepmother, Patricia McIntyre of Sterling; one daughter, Amanda McIntyre of Sterling; two sons, Jaycent McCombs of Dixon and Dylan Stage of Eldridge; four sisters, Lisa (Barry) Carroll of Waddel, Ariz., Kimberly McIntyre of Sterling, Rebecca (Mike) Keller of Gilbert, Ariz., and Tracy (Jeremey) Schrack of Martinez, Ga.; two brothers, Steve (Lori) McIntyre of Elizabeth and Larry (Monique) McIntyre of Oak Park; and two grandchildren, Skyler McCombs and Diontae Mclntyer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard McIntyre and his stepfather, Robert Abbott.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, as well as Saturday, May 25, 2019, from noon to 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. at Who Else Land, in Nelson IL.
