Zehr and his wife, Ellen Davis-Zehr, operate Coneflower Farm in rural Tiskilwa. Along with tomato plants, other items for sale at the Coneflower booth were radishes, rhubarb, asparagus, zucchini, lettuce, spinach, kale, scallions, green onions, green garlic, cilantro, mints, parsley, sage, popcorn and squash blossoms. The market, located on the Frontier lawn at 439 S. Main St., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through October. On June 1, seven vendors were on hand selling fresh produce and homemade products.
