Braedon Fyock receives all-state award for baseball

Forreston High School’s Braedon Fyock was named to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association’s 2019 1A All-State Team.

Fyock, a shortstop on the Cardinals 2019 team, was one of 18 players named to the first team. He signed a letter of intent to play basketball at North Central College, Naperville earlier this year.

He is the son of Jason and April Fyock.

Micha Knauer, a pitcher and first baseman for River Ridge High School, was the only other area player to receive the honor.

Both Fyock and Knauer are seniors.
