In-state warrant

Plano police arrested Jeremy Calvert, 42, of the 400 block of Coneflower Drive, Minooka, on a Will County warrant for failure to appear in court, after responding to a disturbance at 10:35 p.m., June 12 in the 0-100 block of East Main Street. Calvert was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville to await bond.

Warrant arrest

Plano police arrested Alexander Nunez, 25, of the 600 block of East Edgelawn Drive, Plano, on a Kendall County warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, after responding to a call at 11:59 p.m., June 13 in the 0-100 block of East Main Street. Nunez was taken into custody and transported to the Plano Police Department, where he was released after posting bond, and given a date to appear in the Kendall County Courthouse.

DUI

Plano police arrested Silvano Martinez, 51, of the 200 block of East Lee Street, on a charge of driving under the influence, after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 2:50 a.m., June 14 near the intersection of North Hugh and Main streets. Officers reported that Martinez, the owner of the vehicle, was in the driver’s seat and in physical control of the vehicle, with a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. After failing field sobriety tests, Martinez was arrested and taken to the Plano Police Department, where he was released after posting bond, and given a date to appear at the Kendall County Courthouse.

Driving while license suspended

Plano police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile, of the 1200 block of Marketplace Drive, on a charge of driving while license suspended, after responding to a report of a minor traffic violation at 8:58 p.m., June 16 in the area of South Ben and West Dearborn streets. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the Plano Police Department, where he was issued a citation, and released on a recognizance bond.

Violation of order of protection

Plano police arrested Shane Harris, 47, of the 500 block of North Hugh Street, on a charge of violation of an order of protection, after responding to a report of an intoxicated individual at 7:48 a.m., June 17 in the 500 block of North Hugh Street. When transporting Harris to his residence, officers learned that he had been staying less than 500 feet from a protected address, according to an order of protection against Harris. Harris was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail.

Driving while license suspended, warrant arrest

Plano police arrested Antonia Northrup, 25, of the 16000 block of Beaverton Road, Capron, IL, on a charge of driving while license suspended, and Jon Hurtig, 25, of the 900 block of West SI Johnson Avenue, Sheridan, IL, on a valid warrant from Boone County for probation violation, after conducting a traffic stop at 8:46 p.m., June 17 in the area of Route 34 and Kinsel Road. Northrup and Hurtig were taken into custody; Northrup was later released with a date to appear at the Kendall County Courthouse, Hurtig was transported to the Kendall County Jail to await bond.
