ST. CHARLES – A St. Charles woman was charged with felony home invasion for entering a neighbor’s apartment with a handgun and threatening to shoot the woman who lived there, Kane County court records show.
Jennifer A. Marshall, 48, of the 200 block of Lakeside Drive, St. Charles, was also charged with felony aggravated assault of a police officer for knowingly pointing a handgun at him, misdemeanor assault for pointing a handgun in the direction of the neighbor and two counts of disorderly conduct.
The most serious charge, the home invasion, is a Class X felony punishable by six to 30 years in prison if convicted.
Marshall was released from jail after posting $5,000 or 10 percent of the $50,000 bond that was set, records show. The terms of Marshall’s bond is that she is to stay away from her neighbor and her neighbor’s apartment.
Her next court date is scheduled for June 20.
