Kendall County Jail inmate arrested on battery, resisting charges at jail

Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies arrested an inmate at the County Jail in Yorkville on Saturday night, June 29, on charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer and aggravated resisting arrest.

According to police, the incident occurred at 6:10 p.m. when the suspect, Hector Ramon Rojas, 27, who was being held at the jail on unrelated charges, resisted and battered two corrections deputies causing nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police said their investigation into the incident is continuing.
