Live music to fill St. Charles' Lincoln Park all summer

ST. CHARLES – St. Charles Park District's Concerts in the Park series is in full swing in St. Charles' historic downtown.

The concert series will continue through Aug. 15 at the Lincoln Park gazebo, located along Main Street between Fourth and Fifth streets. Performances begin at 7 p.m.

Admission is free thanks to the support of local businesses, including WBK Engineering, AHC Advisors, St. Charles Bank & Trust, Silverado Senior Living, St. Charles Public Library, Banner Up Signs, Minuteman Press and the Kane County Chronicle.

Downtown St. Charles restaurants and local vendors including Kimmer’s Ice Cream, Bernie’s Bully Dogs, Gia Mia Pizza and Snack Zone also will sell food at each concert. Alcohol is not permitted at Lincoln Park.

Guests are encouraged to get to the park early for better seating and to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. Lincoln Park is a smoke-free space.

Upcoming concerts will feature the bands Pirates Over 40 on July 18, Mike Zabrin’s Funktastic on July 25, Howard and the White Boys on Aug. 1, 7th Heaven on Aug. 8 and Final Say on Aug.15.
