Ralph H. 'Runt' Bushman

STERLING – Ralph H. “Runt” Bushman, 53, of Sterling, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his home.

He was born on August 9, 1965, in Sterling, the son of John and Betty (Tintori) Bushman. He attended Rock Falls School. Ralph had worked as a truck driver for Nelson Trucking in Dixon. He was a Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He enjoyed spending family time with his mother, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Bushman; his son, Justin (Jazmin) Bushman; his daughter, Jessica Lynne Bushman; his sisters, Jackie (Kevin) Wolf and Judy Bushman; his brothers, Larry (Sue) Bushman, John (Rose) Bushman, Jim Bushman, and Michael (Druann) Bushman; two grandchildren, Jared John Bushman and Bodhi J. Bushman; and his faithful companion, “Sergeant.”

He was preceded in death by his father.

At his request there will be no formal public services. Cremation has taken place.
