Records: Police arrest Joliet man on reckless driving, conduct charges

Joliet man arrested on probable cause of driving offenses, resisting a police officer, property damage

A 21-year-old man was arrested by Joliet police officers on probable cause of reckless driving, obstructing identification, resisting a police officer, reckless conduct and criminal damage to property, according to police arrest records.

About 11:30 a.m. Friday, Luis Garcia, of the 100 block of Earl Avenue was arrested by police officers at his home, according to Joliet police arrest records that were released on Monday.

Joliet police Sgt. Christopher Botzum failed to provide further information on the arrest of Garcia on Monday.

Joliet police officers arrested Garcia Friday on probable cause of reckless driving, obstructing identification, resisting a police officer, reckless conduct and criminal damage to property.

No formal charges appeared to have been filed against Garcia in Will County court as of Monday afternoon.

After Garcia was arrested by the police, he was booked into the Will County jail about 1:20 p.m., according to the jail records.

Garcia then was released from jail about 11:15 a.m. Saturday.

Garcia was scheduled for a hearing at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Will County Courthouse, according to jail records.
