Patricia Sue Stranberg

DIXON – Patricia Sue Stranberg, 74, of Dixon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Pat was born March 17, 1945 in Sterling the daughter of David Lamont and Mary Elizabeth (Leach) McCombs and was a graduate of Rock Falls High School. She married Don F. Stranberg on July 4, 1980 in Sterling. Pat was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Dixon and was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Throughout her life, her main purpose was serving her Lord and Savior, and taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Don of Dixon; her sons, Donald L. (Anna Rice) Drane of Savanna, Tim E. (Rose) Drane of Dixon, Keith P. (Linda) Stranberg of Oregon and Rick A. Stranberg of State College, Pa.; five grandchildren, Mike (Brittany Swanson) Drane, Heather (Hunter) Wilkerson, Kelly Stranberg, Olivia Stranberg and Alek Stranberg; one great grandchild, Teagan; two brothers-in-law, Bob McCue and Ted (Dawn) Stranberg; three sisters-in-law, Linda McCombs, Joyce (Bill) Koss and Priscilla (John) Krause; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John McCombs; her sisters, Francise Richey, Sandra Druien and Merrilee McCue; and two brothers-in-law, Larry Druien and Frank Richey.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church in Dixon. A funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Dan Bentz officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Northside Baptist Church in Dixon.
