Domestic battery arrest

Sheriff’s deputies arrested April Smith, 25, of the 0-99 block of Guilford Road in Boulder Hill at 1:39 a.m. July 21 on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Smith was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Domestic battery arrest

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery at 10:48 p.m. July 18 in the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Road. Mariah D. Clark, 24, was arrested for domestic battery. Police said Clark was transported to County Jail where she later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

Alleged mob action

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of alleged mob action at 7:39 p.m. July 18 in the 0-99 block of Sonora Road in Boulder Hill. Police said the investigation is continuing.

Home repair fraud reported

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of home repair fraud reported at 9:24 p.m. July 22 at a residence in the 12000 block of Grande Pines Boulevard in NaAuSay Township. Police said deputies were told the incident occurred June 21.

Motorist cited

Sheriff’s deputies ticketed Corvon J. Rayford, 21, of the 8000 block of Langley Avenue, Chicago, for speeding and driving on a suspended license after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 11:42 p.m. July 22 on Route 126 and Schlapp Road in NaAuSay Township. Police said Rayford was released at the scene pending a court appearance.

Computer stolen

Sheriff’s deputies took a theft report at 8 a.m. July 20 from a resident in the 11000 block of Fox Road in Fox Township. Police said the resident told deputies that someone stole his computer. Police said they are investigating.

Burglary, criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report at 5:03 p.m. July 18 of a burglary and criminal damage to property that occurred between July 16 and 18 at the 2000 block of Cherry Road in unincorporated Oswego Township. Police said someone entered the property and vandalized or destroyed several items. Police said the investigation is continuing.

Investigate sex abuse report

Sheriff’s deputies took a report concerning a possible criminal sexual abuse case at 2:50 a.m. July 18 in the 100 block of Circle Drive West in Boulder Hill. Police said their investigation into the incident is continuing.

One hurt, one cited in crash

Montgomery resident Kirk R. Ryan, 51, of the 200 block of Jefferson Street, was injured when the vehicle he was driving at 6:45 a.m. July 17 on Route 25 at Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill struck a vehicle driven by Andrew Thomas, 39, of the 200 bock of Presidential Boulevard, Oswego. Police said Ryan was transported to an area hospital and also cited for failing to yield making a right turn.

Take property damage report

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of criminal damage to property at 1:13 a.m. July 18 in the 100 block of Dolores Street in Oswego Township. Police said they are continuing their investigation.

One hurt in rollover

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover crash at 6:16 p.m. July 17 in the 15000 block of County Line Road in Big Grove Township. Police said Newark Fire Protection District EMS treated the driver of the vehicle, Mary E. Babos, 37, no address given, for minor injuries. Police said no citations were issued.

Checked for injuries on Route 34

Oswego Fire Protection District paramedics evaluated three juveniles for minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 2:21 p.m. July 15 on Route 34 east of Cherry Road in Oswego Township, according to the County Sheriff’s Office. Police said the juveniles were released at the scene and no citations were issued.

Pool reported damaged

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of criminal damage to property that occurred at noon July 13 in the 0-100 block of Blackhawk Springs Drive, Plano. Police said deputies were told that a neighbor damaged the victim’s swimming pool.

Tires found damaged

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of criminal damage to property at 9:54 a.m. July 15 in the 2200 block of Bell Road in Seward Township. Police said sometime between July 13 and July 14 someone damage the tires on a vehicle.
