"Roar" was the theme of this year's Vacation Bible School hosted by Plano's First Baptist Church, First Lutheran Church, and United Methodist Church. It was held at First Lutheran Church July 8-11 with preschool children through sixth graders attending. Each day included Bible stories, activities, prayer, dinner, music, crafts, science experiments, tie-dye shirts, and refreshments related to each day. A special program was presented to families on Thursday evening, July 11. The joint ministry was successful with church families working as a team to continue to build solid faith foundations for the children.
