BATAVIA – Batavia's Rotolo Middle School has a new principal, the district announced in a news release.
The school's new leader, Dr. Kelley Karnick, is a former teacher, dean, assistant prinicpal and most recently, the district's Director of Curriculum.
“The Rotolo students, staff, and parent community have always been special to me. I look forward to sharing in many more laughs, memories, and wonderful experiences as a school community in the years to come,” said Dr. Karnick in the news release.
Karnick lives in the district with her husband Mark and their family. Kelley’s son Keegan, a 2018 BHS graduate, attends the University of Michigan. Her son Bodi will attend Rotolo next year, and her daughter Bailey is a student at BHS.
