Carol A. Doyle

DIXON – Carol A. Doyle, age 67, of Dixon, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.

She was born Sept. 1, 1951, in Amboy, the daughter of Earl and Harriett (Glass) Dunseth. Carol had worked at Flex-O-Glass in Dixon for many years, and then as a bus driver for Laidlaw in Dixon. She married George Doyle May 21, 1982, in Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Richard Dunseth.

Carol is survived by her husband, George; children, Colleen Frye of White Deer, PA., and Cory (Katelyn Lawrence) Doyle of Dixon; stepson, Heath (Pernina) Doyle of Branson, MO.; one granddaughter, Tracie Frye; three stepgrandchildren, Blas, Alex and Mysha Doyle; her sister, Jamie (Dan) Cover of Eldena; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Cremation will follow the visitation.

A memorial has been established.
