St. John Lutheran to welcome new pastor

SYCAMORE – The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. John will welcome the Rev. Paul Mumme as its senior pastor. He previously served at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bolingbook.

Mumme's installation will take place at 3 p.m. Sept. 8, with the Rev. Dr. Allan Buss, president of Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod’s Northern Illinois District, delivering the sermon. A reception will follow in the church all-purpose room.
