Arrested on two warrants

Sheriff's deputies arrested Brandon L. Collier, 27, of the 100 bock of Linden Drive, Oswego, at 1:27 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 0-500 block of Linden Drive in Oswego Township. Police said Collier was wanted on a DuPage County warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior charge of retail theft and a Kendall County warrant for obstructing identification. Police said Collier was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.

Harassment reported

Sheriff's deputies are investigating a report of harassment by electronic communication filed by a resident of the 0-99 block of West Anchor Drive in Oswego Township at 11:05 p.m. Sept. 5.

Warrant arrest

Sheriff's deputies arrested Chantel Asim, 46, of the 24000 block of of Generation Drive, Plainfield, at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 9 after stopping the vehicle she was driving for a moving violation in the area of Boulder Hill Pass and Old Post Road in Boulder Hill. Police said Asim was wanted on a Will County warrant for failure to appear in small claims court. Asim was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.

No complaints signed

Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of criminal trespass to property at a residence in the 3200 block of Van Dyke Road in Seward Township 5:58 p.m. Sept. 9. Police said they located three suspects on the property but they were released after the victim declined to sign complaints.

Motorist injured, cited in crash

A Joliet resident, Lindsay Crawford, 33, of the 8000 block of Buckingham Road, was injured in a two vehicle crash at 10:50 a.m. Sept. 3 on Rogers Road and Millington Road in Fox Township, according to the sheriff's office. Police said Crawford was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the other motorist involved in the crash was not hurt. Police said Crawford was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop sign and no proof of insurance.

Respond to domestic

Sheriff's deputies took a juvenile into custody at 3:54 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 0-99 block of Bonnie Lane, Yorkville, as they responded to a domestic incident involving family members. Police said the juvenile was referred to juvenile court services.

Hit and run investigated

Sheriff's deputies are investigating a hit and run crash that occurred at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 0-99 block of Aldon Court in Boulder Hill.

Hit and run reported

Sheriff's deputies took a report of a hit and run crash that occurred at 1:50 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 500 block of Chicago Road in Big Grove Township. Police described the offending vehicle as a white sedan.
