The Morris Community High School class of 1964 hosted their 55th reunion on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Morris Country Club.
There were 58 classmates, spouses, friends and guests in attendance.
Classmates were greeted by the committee with “Redskin” nametags for each attendee.
Classmate the Rev. Ray Corlew gave the table blessing before the meal with the Our Father recited in unison by the class. A buffet meal was enjoyed.
George Black was master of ceremonies and introduced special guests and teachers who shaped their lives. They were: Beth Trotter, Anne Peacock and Don Funte, along with his wife, Elsie Funte.
Black requested veterans from the class stand as their names were read and their branch of service listed. He also had all other veterans in attendance stand. Black spoke of high school memories, and memories of Morris back in the day.
The evening was enjoyed by all.
