Warrant service arrest

Plano police arrested Nashonda N. Jones, 30, of the 300 block of South Louis Street, Plano, on an outstanding warrant from Kendall County for two charges of domestic battery while conducting a warrant service Sept. 12, in the 300 block of South Louis Street. Jones was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await bond.

Body writ arrest

Plano police arrested Rafael Gonzalez Jr., 51, of the 700 block of South Hale Street, Plano, on a failure to appear warrant for a body writ issued by Kendall County Court, after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle at 6:40 p.m., Sept. 14, in the area of Route 34 and Needham Road. Gonzalez Jr. was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await bond.

Assault arrest

Plano police arrested Christopher E. Cleveland, 44, of the 4200 block of Foli Street, Plano, on a charge of assault, after responding to a report of a domestic disturbance at 9:26 a.m., Sept. 14, in the 4200 block of Foli Street. Cleveland was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await bond. No injuries were reported.

DUI, speeding arrest

Plano police arrested Juan M. Vargas Jr., 26, of the 100 block of East Charles Street, Plano, on charges of driving under the influence and driving while license suspended, after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle reported to be speeding, at 8:33 p.m., Sept. 15, in the 400 block of East South Street. Vargas was also cited for speeding. He was taken into custody and transported to the Plano Police Department, where he was later released after posting bond, and was given a date to appear in Kendall County Court.
