Records: Former Will County judge's son has not been arrested

A former judge’s son has yet to be apprehended after a warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to appear in court and report for drug testing, according to court and jail records.

It’s been almost a month since an arrest warrant was issued for Louis D. Goode, 34, who is the son of former Will County Judge Carla Alessio Policandriotes. Goode has addresses in Channahon and Shorewood, according to court records.

Goode faces four counts of domestic battery for allegedly abusing his wife, whom he was previously convicted of attacking in 2014, according to court records.

Goode initially appeared in court Aug. 23 for drug testing in his domestic battery case but he left and never returned, according to court records. On the same day, a judge signed a warrant for Goode’s arrest and set no bond, which would prevent him from being released from jail after his arrest.

Jail and court records show Goode has not been apprehended or surrendered himself as of Friday afternoon.

Will County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer did not respond to a message and call about Goode. His attorney, George Lenard, did not respond to a call Friday.

On Aug. 27, a warrant also was issued for Goode's arrest in Callaway County, Missouri, on a possession of a controlled substance charge, according to Callaway County Sheriff's Office's website.

A representative of the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office said Goode was not in the jail. When Goode was charged with domestic battery Nov. 1, a warrant was issued for his arrest but he didn’t surrender himself to the authorities in until Dec. 6 after flying to Illinois from Texas, police said.
