Marmion Academy to host middle school leadership conference

Marmion Academy's LEAD Department will host a Middle School Leadership Camp for 6th through 8th grade boys and girls from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 19 at the school's campus, 1000 Butterfield Ave., Aurora.

According to a news release from the school, the camp will feature interactive team-building activities, while teaching students how to become better leaders. The cost is $20 per student, which includes a T-shirt. The deadlines to register is Oct. 14. Visit www.marmion.org/LEAD for additional details and to register.

The news release states that Marmion’s LEAD Program provides an educational foundation of practical leadership skills based on Christian values and ethics. The goal is to utilize this foundation for the mutual benefit of the students and the community to instill a commitment to life-long service.
