Sharon Baker

Sharon R. (Miller) Baker, 78, of Utica passed away Nov. 19, 2019, in Cabin Livin’ Senior Care in Hennepin.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home, La Salle, with the Rev. Gregory Jarzombek, O.S.B., officiating. Burial will follow at St. Vincent’s Cemetery, La Salle. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

She was born July 12, 1941, in Ottawa to Dale and Roberta (Twait) Miller.

Mrs. Baker worked at Wal-Mart in Peru and was a member of Utica Fireman’s Auxiliary.

Survivors include six children, Julie (Joseph) Piano of Peru, Tina (Tom Bowling) Redshaw of Maquoketa, Iowa, Terry Tunget of Oglesby, Jay (Wendy) Tunget of Peru, Robert (Carol) Baker Jr. of Oglesby and Kimberly (Richard) Watts of Oglesby; seven grandchildren, Logan (Brittany) Tunget, Amanda (Kody) Neurohr, Kati Tunget, Nicholas (Shar) Baker, Andrew (Kaleigh) Watts, Kelsey Watts and Heith Harrison; three great-grandchildren, Tessa, Lola and Emmerya; her sister, Carla (Leonard) Jansen of Missouri; her brother, Richard (Judy) Miller of Tennessee; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Baker on March 13, 2006; and a grandson, Brandon Jay Tunget on Feb. 7, 2010.

Pallbearers will be Logan Tunget, Andrew Watts, Nicholas Baker, Heith Harrison, Kody Neurohr, Mason Guerrero and John Schwarz.
