William Scott McGinn

STERLING – William Scott McGinn, 29, of Sterling, IL, passed away on December 9, 2019, at his home.

William was born February 19th, 1990, in Indio, CA, the son of Mathew William McGinn and Carly Lou Delp. He attended and graduated from Sterling High School, where he enjoyed playing tennis. He was continuing his education at ATS, where he obtained his certificates of heavy equipment operation. William worshiped at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, IL, where he attended with his grandparents William and Katherine McGinn. He was an avid Bears fan and he loved riding four-wheelers and snow mobiles.

William is survived by his father, Matthew McGinn, and Linda McGinn; his grandparents, William and Katherine McGinn; his sister, Lorraine Donham (McGinn); his mother, Carly Dixon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There will be no public services. Cremation had taken place. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Homes.
