Ian B. Stark, 23, of Saint Charles, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. for aggravated driving while under the influence of alcohol after deputies, along with the Rochelle Fire Department and Rochelle EMS were dispatched to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of East Illinois 38 and South Mulford Road.
After an investigation it was learned that Stark lost control of his vehicle and entered the south side ditch, just west of the intersection.
The passenger of the vehicle was transported to Rochelle Hospital to be treated for non life-threatening internal injuries. Stark refused medical attention and was later issued citations for driving while under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.
Dec. 14
Brittany A. Fletcher, 30, of Belvidere, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. for driving while license suspended and on a warrant from Boone County following a traffic stop on Illinois 39 at mile marker 99 southbound. Fletcher was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held pending bond.
Dec. 15
Tiffany L. Lund, 34, of Mt. Morris, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. for criminal damage to property. after deputies responded to a residence in reference to a disturbance. Lund was transported to the Ogle County Jail.
Dec. 17
Dale Welter, 67, of Rockford, was arrested for failure to appear. Welter posted $600 as a full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Welter is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 27.
Dec. 18
At approximately 6 p.m., deputies responded to the 19000 block of East Crill Road in reference to an accident with injuries.
After an investigation, it was learned that Brandon Clubb, 25, entered the north ditch in an attempt to evade a deer in the roadway. Clubb then struck a tree in the north ditch, causing major front end damage to the vehicle.
Clubb was transported to the hospital by Monroe Township EMS for non life threatening injuries. Maggio’s Towing assisted in removing the vehicle.
Lamonte Kazee, 27, of Milwaukee, was arrested for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop for speeding on Illinois 39 near Monroe Center. Kazee was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
Dec. 19
Abel A. Cardenas, 29, of Rockford, was arrested at 8:08 p.m. for no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop on Illinois 39 at mile marker 104. Pedro Cardensas-Alonso was arrested on a valid warrant. Both were transported to the Ogle County Jail where they were held in lieu of bond.
James Edgar II, 67, of Oregon, was arrested at 7:31 a.m. for no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at the intersection of Lighthouse Road and Watertown Road.
He was additionally issued citations for no valid registration, no front registration plate, failure to transfer registration, operating an uninsured vehicle, and speeding.
Edgar was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Jason Smith, 38, of Durand, was arrested at 7:11 p.m. for possession of a controlled substance and no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop on Illinois 39 at mile marker 103 southbound. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
