Joliet District 204 scholarships now available for seniors

Over $90,000 available for post-secondary education

Joliet Township High School District 204 announced this month that some students are able to apply for scholarships online.

The JTHS District Scholarships provide Joliet Central High School and Joliet West High School seniors the opportunity to help pay for college or post-secondary options, according to a news release.

Seniors have until March 20 to apply for the district scholarships, which will award over $90,000 at the Senior Awards Night.

Seniors from both schools can apply for as many District Donor Scholarships as they are eligible.

The donors of each scholarship will review all submitted applications.

The applications links for both Central and West students can be found on the district website, jths.org.

To apply for the District Committee Scholarships, seniors should complete the student profile and essay. Applications will be reviewed and selected by the scholarship committee at each campus.

Applications for the District Committee Scholarships for both Central and West students are also available on the district website, jths.org.

Students are advised to read each scholarship's eligibility criteria carefully. Any questions should be directed to their guidance counselors.

District 204 includes over 6,700 students at its west and central campuses, according to the district website.
