Andrea Norris

DIXON – Andrea Elizabeth Norris, 47, of Dixon, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at University of Iowa Hopitals & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

She was an Assistant Branch Manager at Midland States Bank prior to her passing.

Andrea was born April 21, 1972, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Janet (Chick) Norris. She was a member of the Booster’s Club at Dixon High School and Treasurer for Dixon Fast Pitch. Andrea enjoyed planning events for the organizations she was involved with, playing softball and bowling. She had a passion for music and attended various concerts. Andrea loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Andrea is survived by her children, Kendyl Thrower, Kameron Thrower, Kaylie Palmer; mother, Janet Norris; brother, Brian Norris; three grandchildren, Carter Engelkes, Sophie Engelkes, Kingston Linscott; best friends, Shanda Williamson and Becky Wade all from Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth E. Norris.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon. Funeral Service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon with the Pastor Michael Cole, from The Worship Center, officiating. Cremation will take place following the services.
