Dana Michele Scassiferro

Dana Michele Scassiferro, 41, of La Salle passed away Jan. 6, 2020, at her home.

A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Queen of the Holy Rosary Shrine, La Salle, with the Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Burial will be private in Wyoming Cemetery, Paw Paw at later date.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home, La Salle.

Dana was born Jan. 7, 1978, in Fayetteville, N.C. to Larry H. and Evelyn (Wiley) Scassiferro. She graduated in 1996 from Bolingbrook High School. She was a loving mother to her son, Jonathan.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan; her father, Larry of La Salle; her brother, Larry B. Scassiferro of Peru; one stepbrother, Mark Scassiferro of Springfield; her nephew, Aiden; her niece, Chasilie; her special friend, Kevin Kehlet of Joliet; and her yellow lab, Max.

She was preceded in death by her mother; maternal grandfather, Ralph Wiley; and her paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Scassiferro.
