Ashley Parks, a senior at Sycamore High School, was recently named Sycamore Rotary Student of the Month. In addition to her scholastic successes, Parks is part of the Community Foundation’s Youth Engaged in Philanthropy program, the Life Missions outreach at her church, the Family Service Agency mentoring program, along with extra-curricular activities such as soccer, cross country and theater. She plans to study advocacy and social change at Loyola University after graduation. She said the $100 she received from Rotary for the award will be donated to the mentoring program at Family Service Agency.
