Kendall County Sheriff's deputies arrest man on multiple warrants

OSWEGO TOWNSHIP – A man was arrested on multiple warrants early Wednesday, Jan. 22 in unincorporated Oswego Township.

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies served the warrants to 41 year old John C. Cobb at 12:17 a.m. Jan. 22 in the 0-99 block of Marlin Drive, according to a sheriff's office news release.

After the deputies made contact with Cobb, they learned that Cobb had two warrants out for his arrest, according to the news release. He had a warrant from Aurora Police Department for electronic harassment with a $5,000 bond and a warrant from Carpentersville Police Department for battery with a $1,000 bond.

Police said in the news release Cobb was arrested at 12:36 a.m. Jan. 22 without incident and transported to Kendall County Jail.

The Marlin Drive address was not listed as a residence for Cobb, according to sheriff's officials. Sheriff's deputies were unable to confirm the last known address for Cobb.

Cobb has since been released from the Kendall County Jail to the other agencies that issued the warrants, according to jail records.
