Do you have any nicknames? Sam, Sammy and sometimes Samuel.

With what food could you win an eating contest? Definitely tacos.

What super power would you like to have? Definitely to be a mind reader. I think it would be interesting to see what people are thinking.

What movie do you never get tired of watching? Anything Disney.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you want to go and why? Maybe France or anywhere overseas. I think it would be great to see other cultures and how they're different from ours.

What is your most played song recently? 'Shotgun' by George Ezra.

Last week's accomplishments: Vazquez scored 15 points against Fisher and 12 points against Tremont as the Knights earned a pair of conference victories and broke the school record for most wins in a season.

Vazquez on her performance: Any success the past week or any time is all because of my teammates. We feed off each other and this is truly a team. Steals, points, rebounds it can be someone different leading the way so I just have to give any credit to my teammates for any success I have.

Coach Mitch Neally says: Samantha has been huge for us the past week. She is a tough matchup for teams. She is tough in the post and her mid-range game has been great so far. She's a hard worker with a great basketball knowledge and on top of all that she signed up to be in the national guard. That just says a lot about her character. We absolutely love having her on this team.
