Dolores E. Hey

STERLING – Dolores E. Hey, 90, of Sterling, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 at CGH Medical Center.

Dolores was born August 11, 1929 in Sterling, the daughter of Ralph G. and Beulah (Neikirk) Weigle. She married John E. Hey on September 28, 1947, in Sterling. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2013.

Survivors include one daughter, Marty (Bob) Egert of Sterling; Monty (Diane Wheeler) Hey of Sterling; grandchildren, Jakob (Maggie) Egert, Sara Egert, and Austin Hey; four great-grandchildren, Drayden Hey, Evangeline, John, and Patrick Egert; and one brother, Richard Weigle of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; and three sons, Robert, Mark, and Michael Hey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2020. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling, with Reverend Leo Patterson, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling.

A memorial has been established to P.A.D.S.
