Kane County Cougars announce game promotions, musical entertainment for 2020 season

New theme nights, celebrity appearances highlight schedule

GENEVA – The Kane County Cougars have released a preliminary promotional schedule of theme nights, entertainment acts and giveaways for the 2020 season.

Highlights include new theme nights such as Stranger Things Night and Unicorn Day and returning favorites like The Office and Professional Wrestling Night, a total of six bobblehead giveaways plus appearances by new entertainment acts. In addition, there are 24 post-game fireworks shows on deck set to various musical themes for fans to enjoy, according to a news release from the Cougars.

The Cougars 30th anniversary season opens on April 9 with an Opening Night Cap giveaway, sponsored by Northwestern Medicine for the first 1,500 fans in attendance. Single-game tickets for all 2020 games will go on sale March 3 at 10 a.m.

Some other scheduled promotions include SIngle & Mingle Night, American Girl Night, Nick Jr. Night, Star Wars Night, Harry Potter Night and many more.

Other special events include Peanut Free Nights, Mental Health Awareness Night and Deaf/Hearing Impaired Night.

Some of the live entertainers to perform at the games include ZOOperstars, All-Star Stunt Dogs, American English, Prairie Station, Nick Bell Band and more.

Several weeknights will also feature specials, including Taco Tuesday, Wednesday Family Feast and Micro Monday, with half-priced premium and craft beers.
