Janice (Kope) Heilener

Janice (Kope) Heilener

GERMANTOWN, TN – Janice (Kope) Heilener passed away after a brief illness on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, in Collierville, TN.

She was born June 26, 1930, in Oak Lawn, IL. She was the daughter of John and Elsie (Tatina) Kope, and married Pastor Raymond Heilener on Nov. 25, 1954, in Oak Lawn, IL.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Beth Schnitkey; granddaughter, Alaina (Tyler) Adams; two granddaughters, Riley and Peyton; sister, Carla (Ken) McGuire; brothers, Marty (Jo) and Bill (Sally) Kope; sisters-in-law, Ruth George (Sterling), and Lorraine Knicl (Dixon).

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack; and, son-in-law, Alan Schnitkey.

A celebration meal, at her home church, is planned for a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at 1872 East Laurel Hollow Lane, Germantown, TN, 38139.

Arrangements were completed by Genesis Legacy in Tennessee.
