BATAVIA – The Batavia Park District is offering discounts to Hall Quarry Beach season passes to celebrate the quarry's 100th anniversary. The beach is scheduled to open on May 23.
According to a news release from the Batavia Park District, the "Aloha Week" flash sale runs Feb. 24- 29.
During that week, resident pricing will be as follows: senior $15 (full price $22), individual $40 (full price $70), a family of two $74 (full price $130), a family of three $111(full price $190), a family of four $143 (full price $252), and each additional pass will be $16 (full price $32).
Non-resident pricing will be as follows: Senior $20 (full price $32), individual $61 (full price $99), a family of two $116 (full price $185), a family of three $172 (full price $272), a family of four $230 (full price $363), and each additional pass will be $28 (full price $48).
“We know families are looking forward to happy times outside with some good sunshine his summer! This season is a special one, as it marks 100 years since the quarry became an official aquatic facility,” stated Aquatics Supervisor, Bethanne Guidarelli in the news release. “The park district is glad to offer this flash sale once again, as the quarry benefits individuals of all ages. This provides a deeply discounted season pass rate so that more people can enjoy a unique summer experience.”
According to the release, season pass holders will get to take advantage of early admittance to the quarry at 11:30 a.m. as a daily perk once again this summer. This means better parking and access to beach chairs before the beach opens to the public at noon.
Season passes can be purchased online, at the Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., or the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St., during business hours. The first 100 households to stop by one of the offices to sign up in-person will receive a free gift from the park district, the release stated.
